WORKSHOP: Fivefold Ministry Giftings

  • C&MA Central Canadian District Ministry Center 159 Panin Road Burlington, ON Burlington Canada (map)

PERHAPS ONE OF THE BIGGEST STRESSORS IN MODERN DAY MINISTRY IS THE OLD FORMULA: 20% OF THE PEOPLE ARE DOING 80% OF THE WORK. THIS WAS NEVER GOD’S INTENT.

As you study Ephesians in particular, Paul gives some specific instruction of the gifts and offices that are given to insure that believers are equipped to not only move towards maturity but help others do so as well. In this workshop we will explore this teaching and specifically focus on the 5 gifts / offices that are mentioned – apostle, prophet, evangelist, teacher and shepherd.

We will define these, look at Biblical examples of how they operate, and the interplay that happens in healthy ministering environments. We will explore the role of the Holy Spirit in the fivefold ministry. The goal of this workshop is not only to inform, but also to interact and engage with one another and make room for the Holy Spirit to activate His ministry in our midst.
